Gents Barberspa has expanded into a greater recently renovated space two blocks closer to Broad Street. With new renovations and additional team members, Gents Barberspa continues to be provide the best Charleston barber shop experience for the Gentleman. To add, we have included a pool table, dart board and comfortable seating creating the ultimate man cave meets barbershop experience. We look forward to seeing all you Gents soon!

The Madisons are back!! JD and his wife have relieved management, and they are taking Gents to the next level. Over the next year, they will be working hard with the Gents team to insure the original standards are back in place.

Gents adds Tina McCormick and Tammy Harrell to the team. They will be stylists and working full time. Both are new to the Charleston area, and very excited to be on board.

Karen Yarborough promoted to Stylist Director. In coercion with the Madisons, she will now be responsible for hiring new stylists and overseeing standards set forth by the original Gents method.

Megan Lutes promoted to Assistant Manager. She will be working with the Madisons to implement standards of service within Gents, and with customer relations in the Charleston hospitality market.

The expansion is complete! Gents takes over the space next door, and adds 3 massage rooms, a quiet waiting area, and a locker room that has 2 showers and a large changing area. This side will be known as the "Quiet Side." The original Gents space will be known as the "Loud Side." This expansion will allow the services to be provided in the appropriate environment.

Melissa Coe named Massage Director, and in coercion with the Madisons, will now be responsible for hiring new massage therapists and overseeing standards set forth by the original Gents method.

After moving here from Virginia, Cynthia Parker has been working with Gents on a part-time basis as a stylist. As of today, she moves to full-time, and strengthens the Gents team. Everyone is very excited to have her on board!

Gents celebrates 6 years of being Charleston's premier Men's Barberspa. Plans are put in place to celebrate this event in November, to coincide with a fundraiser for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. More details to follow.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation Fund Raiser and 6-Year Celebration will take place at Gents Barberspa on November 12, 2009. Proceeds from the day will go to the foundation, and at 6PM, the party and silent auction will begin. Sermet's Restaurant will provide the food, and Gents will provide beer, wine, and cocktails. Gents anticipates raising money for research and development while creating awareness for the disease that affects 1 in 6 men in America.
